The film traces the birth of Israel in 1948 and follows its evolution to the present through four distinct chapters, centering on one family’s multi-generational journey. Blending personal recollections from each relative, it paints an intimate portrait of Palestinians who stayed on their land, only to be branded “Israeli-Arabs” — a marginalized community within their own birthplace, navigating life as a perpetual minority in a homeland that no longer fully recognized them.
