Overview

In March 2020, Orla learns she is pregnant. As lockdowns and restrictions close in—and with a family Zoom quiz on the horizon—she undertakes a hard journey across the Irish Sea to obtain a safe abortion. Anchored by a wonderful performance from Alice Mann, Travel Socks is a profoundly funny and touching film that exposes the ongoing shortage of support and resources in Northern Ireland.
