Overview

Day after day, Mr. Grimm carries out his grim duty as the Reaper, collecting the souls of the living. But his routine is shattered when the doorbell rings, and a small girl stands on his doorstep, demanding the return of her missing cat. Unaware of her fate, she doesn't realize that her name has already been written in his ledger—and that she, not her pet, is the very next soul he's meant to claim.
