Overview

Eleven-year-old Ginto, scraping by in Manila’s slums, craves the gang’s reckless brotherhood over his sister Asia’s sacrifices, even as she sells her body to keep them fed. Smitten with a fellow gang member, Ginto wrestles with who he is while violence and desperation close in. Meanwhile, Dutch tourist Michael spirals deeper into the city’s underbelly, chasing shadows he can’t escape. When their lives collide, Ginto must make a heartbreaking choice—one that will seal both their fates in a place where innocence is just another coin and survival leaves scars.
