The Screwball

Overview

On the day of the big baseball showdown between the Drips and the Droops, Woody Woodpecker tries to sneak in without buying a ticket. A cop keeps throwing him out, so Woody disguises himself in a full baseball uniform—cap included, since players don't wear hats—and slips inside, quickly joining the action. Before long, he winds up stuck against the scoreboard, pelted by a barrage of baseballs from everyone in the park.
