Overview

Norbert, a haughty aristocratic vampire clinging to ancient traditions, faces exile unless he sinks his fangs into a woman of untainted lineage. Dispatched by sea to Japan with his stoic museum-guard butler in tow, a violent storm dashes their vessel against the jagged shores of Boulet Rouge Island. Stranded on the eerie, forgotten land, Norbert’s desperate hunt for a suitable victim collides with the island’s dark secrets, forcing him to question everything he believes about blood, honor, and survival.
