William Lucking
Biography
William Lucking (June 17, 1941 – October 18, 2021) was an esteemed American actor whose career spanned film, television, and theater. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Piney Winston in the acclaimed FX series "Sons of Anarchy" and for his memorable role as Colonel Lynch in the iconic 1980s series "The A-Team." Lucking's extensive filmography showcased his talent for embodying rugged characters, including roles in notable films such as "The Magnificent Seven Ride!," "Stripes," "The Limey," "Erin Brockovich," and "The Rundown."
His television credits are equally impressive, featuring appearances in popular series like "Mission: Impossible," "The Waltons," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "The X-Files," and "The West Wing." A graduate of UCLA and the Pasadena Playhouse, Lucking was deeply passionate about the arts, co-founding the Santa Paula Theater Center, where he served as artistic director and produced numerous theatrical productions.
