Song Kang
Biography
Song Kang is a rising star in South Korean cinema, represented by Namoo Actors. He honed his craft at Konkuk University, where he pursued a degree in film arts.
Kang made his acting debut in 2015 with a significant role in the short drama "Hello Spring." He began to gain traction in the entertainment industry in 2017, appearing in music videos such as "Sweet Summer Night" by The Ade and "Love Story" by Suran. That same year, he marked his official entry into acting with a supporting role in the drama "The Liar And His Lover."
His talents were recognized in 2018 when he received a nomination for the Male Rookie Award at the 12th SBS Entertainment Awards. Though he initially took on smaller roles, his breakthrough came in 2019 when he starred as Sun Oh in the highly acclaimed webtoon adaptation "Love Alarm." This role significantly elevated his profile, capturing the attention of audiences and critics alike.
Since then, Song Kang has rapidly ascended in the industry, becoming one of the most sought-after actors in South Korea.
