John Abraham, born on December 17, 1972, is a prominent Indian actor, producer, and former model renowned for his work in Hindi cinema. He began his career in the modeling industry, featuring in various advertisements before making a notable entrance into films with his debut in Jism (2003), a role that earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Best Debut Award.

His breakout role came in the action-packed Dhoom (2004), which marked his first major commercial success. Abraham's portrayal of antagonistic characters in both Dhoom and Zinda (2006) garnered him two Filmfare Award nominations. He also earned acclaim for his performance in the critically lauded film Water (2005) and received another nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Baabul (2006).
