Mark Acheson, born on September 19, 1957, is a versatile Canadian actor known for his work across film, television, and voice acting. His journey into the performing arts began at the age of 15 when he enrolled in acting classes at Langara College’s Studio 58. Acheson emerged as a founding member of the Janus Theatre, where he honed his craft over eight years, performing on notable stages such as the Arts Club Theatre and The Belfry, alongside other regional venues.
Transitioning into film and television in his 30s, Acheson made a significant impact with memorable supporting roles. He is perhaps best recognized for his portrayal of the Mailroom Guy in the beloved holiday film *Elf* and Mr. Tripoli in the critically acclaimed series *Fargo*. His filmography also includes appearances in *The 13th Warrior* and *Watchmen*, showcasing his range as an actor.
In addition to his live-action roles, Acheson has garnered acclaim in the realm of voice acting, often taking on villainous characters.
