Anne Celeste Heche (May 25, 1969 – August 11, 2022) was an accomplished American actress whose career spanned over three decades. She initially gained fame for her dual roles as Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera *Another World* (1987–1991), a performance that earned her a Daytime Emmy Award along with two Soap Opera Digest Awards.

In the late 1990s, Heche solidified her status as a prominent actress with a series of notable performances in films such as the crime drama *Donnie Brasco* (1997), the disaster thriller *Volcano* (1997), the slasher hit *I Know What You Did Last Summer* (1997), and the political satire *Wag the Dog* (1997). Her versatility shone through in the romantic adventure *Six Days, Seven Nights* (1998) and the intense drama *Return to Paradise* (1998). Her portrayal of Marion Crane in Gus Van Sant's *Psycho* (1998) garnered her a Saturn Award nomination.

Heche continued to make an impact with roles in acclaimed independent films, including *Birth* (2004) and *Catfight* (2016).
