Biography

Anthony Carrigan, born on January 2, 1983, in Winchester, Massachusetts, is a talented American actor celebrated for his distinctive roles in television and film. He gained significant recognition between 2018 and 2023 for his portrayal of NoHo Hank, a Chechen mobster, in the critically acclaimed HBO series *Barry*. Carrigan’s performance earned him three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2019, 2022, and 2023, showcasing his exceptional comedic timing and depth.

Prior to *Barry*, he made his mark on the small screen with notable performances as Tyler Davies in *The Forgotten* (2009–2010) and as the infamous villain Victor Zsasz in the FOX series *Gotham* (2014–2019). Carrigan also showcased his versatility in the film *Bill & Ted Face the Music* (2020), where he played the quirky robot Dennis Caleb McCoy.

Carrigan graduated from Winchester High School and further honed his craft at Carnegie Mellon University. Since childhood, he has managed alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition that leads to hair loss. While he initially experienced only minor bald patches, he began losing more hair in his twenties.
