After moving to Seoul in her sophomore year and completing her studies at Bulgok High School, she pursued a degree in theatre at Dongguk University. Her first major film role was in the independent feature “Ad Lib Night,” directed by Lee Yoon-Ki, where her performance earned her critical acclaim, including the “Best Actress” awards from the Korean Movie Critics Organization and the Singapore International Film Festival. Han's popularity skyrocketed with her role in the 2009 SBS drama “Brilliant Legacy,” which captivated audiences and achieved ratings exceeding 40%. She continued to expand her repertoire with the historical drama “Dong Yi” in 2010, further solidifying her status as one of Korea's leading actresses.
