Jack O'Connell, born on August 1, 1990, is a prominent English actor whose career has spanned various acclaimed roles across film and television. He initially captured public attention as James Cook in the popular British series *Skins*, which aired from 2009 to 2010 and returned briefly in 2013. O'Connell's early work includes significant performances in *This Is England* (2006) and the horror film *Eden Lake* (2008), along with notable appearances in the dramas *Dive* (2010) and *United* (2011).
