Biography
Jane McGregor is a talented Canadian actress renowned for her diverse roles across film and television. She gained prominence through her performances in notable works such as *Flower & Garnet* (2002), *Slap Her, She's French!* (2002), and *That Beautiful Somewhere* (2006). Additionally, she is recognized for her recurring role as Alicia Plecas in the CTV series *Robson Arms* (2005-2008).
McGregor's journey in acting commenced at the young age of eight when she took classes at the Vancouver Youth Theatre, which led to her early appearances in toy commercials. Her television debut was in the classic Canadian series *The Odyssey* (1992), and she soon transitioned to a series of made-for-TV movies. In 2000, she starred in the MTV series *Live Through This*, which paved the way for her role in the acclaimed TV movie *Bang Bang You're Dead* (2002), a production that garnered multiple Emmy Awards.
Her performance in *Slap Her, She's French!* showcased her talent as she portrayed Starla Grady, a popular cheerleader, alongside Piper Perabo.
