Guy Williams (January 14, 1924 – April 30, 1989) was an American actor and former fashion model, recognized for his portrayals of daring action heroes during the 1950s and 1960s. Despite his notable physical attributes—standing 6 feet 3 inches tall with striking hazel eyes—and an undeniable charisma that fostered a successful early career in modeling, he never quite reached the pinnacle of movie stardom.

Williams is perhaps best known for his leading roles in two iconic television series. He starred as the titular character in "Zorro," a show that captured the imagination of audiences with its adventurous spirit. Later, he took on the role of John Robinson in the beloved sci-fi series "Lost in Space," which gained acclaim for its innovative design and memorable costumes, including the sleek silver spacesuits that became synonymous with the show.

Beyond acting, Williams had a diverse range of interests, including astronomy, chess, classical music, fencing, and sailing. He owned a 40-foot ketch named The Oceana, reflecting his love for the sea.

In the late 1970s, Williams retired to a tranquil life near Buenos Aires, Argentina. He passed away from a brain aneurysm in 1989, leaving behind a legacy marked by his captivating performances and enduring charm.
