Biography

Kevin Eldon is a prominent British actor, comedian, and songwriter known for his contributions to the UK comedy scene. Born in Chatham, Kent, Eldon began his journey in entertainment during the late 1990s, featuring in iconic television comedies such as *Fist of Fun*, *Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge*, *Big Train*, *Brass Eye*, and *Jam*. In 2013, he launched his own sketch series, *It's Kevin*, on the BBC, showcasing his unique comedic style. Notably, he also had minor roles in the acclaimed HBO series *Game of Thrones*.

Eldon's creative talents extend beyond television; he was involved in the music scene during the late 1970s, co-founding the band Virginia Doesn't, which gained recognition with a session on Radio One's *John Peel Show*. The band's evolution led to the formation of The Time, which performed alongside well-known acts like The Jam and Bad Manners before transitioning into the spoof band Gerry Hackett & The Fringes.

A practicing Buddhist since 1990, Eldon has a family with his wife Holly, whom he met on the set of *Hyperdrive*. His stand-up career took off in the early 1990s, where he first appeared as the political poet Paul Hamilton, later collaborating with comedian Stewart Lee on various projects, including the radio series *Lee & Herring's Fist of Fun*.
