Robert Stadlober
Biography
Robert Stadlober, born on August 3, 1982, in Friesach, Carinthia, Austria, is a multifaceted talent known for his work as an actor and musician. He grew up in Puchfeld, Styria, and later moved to Berlin, Germany. Stadlober began his career in the entertainment industry as a child voice actor, lending his voice to various films and appearing in numerous television and film productions.
His breakout role came in 2000 when he portrayed Benjamin Lebert, a young boy with disabilities, in the acclaimed film "Crazy." This role solidified his status in the film industry. He further showcased his acting prowess in the 2004 film "Summer Storm," a coming-of-age drama centered around a rowing camp, which earned him the Best Young Actor award at the Montreal International Film Festival.
In addition to his acting career, Stadlober is passionate about music. He was the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band Gary, alongside David Winter and Rasmus Engler, and is currently a member of the indie group Escorial Gruen. Furthermore, he founded the independent record label Siluh Records in 2007.
Throughout his career, Stadlober has collaborated with fellow actor Tom Schilling on three films: "Crazy," "Play It Loud!" (2003), and "Black Sheep" (2006). As of 2008, he resides in Berlin, continuing to make strides in both film and music.
