Lana Morris, originally named Averil Maureen Anita Morris, was born on March 11, 1930, and passed away on May 28, 1998. A prominent British actress, she gained recognition for her performances in film, stage, and television throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
One of her notable roles was that of Helene in the acclaimed 1967 BBC adaptation of *The Forsyte Saga*. Morris showcased her versatility by appearing in various television series, including a memorable collaboration with Roger Moore in *The Saint*, which also featured her on the cover of an early 1960s edition of the novel *The Saint in New York*. In addition to her acting career, she transitioned into television as a panellist, contributing her insights and charm to numerous programs. In her personal life, Morris was married to BBC executive Ronnie Waldman from 1953 until his death in 1978. The couple had one son together.
