Mickey Curtis, born on July 23, 1938, is a multifaceted Japanese entertainer recognized for his talents as an actor, singer, and television personality. He embarked on his entertainment journey in 1958, initially making waves as an actor before transitioning to music as a rockabilly singer. His big break came in 1967 when he gained international fame as the frontman of the avant-garde rock band "Mickey Curtis & The Samurai." After five successful years, he disbanded the group in 1972 and returned to Japan, where he shifted his focus to producing music for emerging artists.
Mickey Curtis's diverse cultural background enriches his artistry; he was born Brian Kachisu to a Japanese father and a Canadian mother.
