Biography
Cameron Michelle Diaz, born on August 30, 1972, in San Diego, California, is a celebrated American actress known for her remarkable contributions to both comedy and drama. With her films collectively earning over $3 billion at the U.S. box office, Diaz emerged as a leading figure in romantic comedies during the late 1990s and early 2000s, solidifying her status as a sex symbol and one of Hollywood's most bankable stars. Notably, in 2013, she was recognized as the highest-paid actress over the age of 40. Throughout her career, she has garnered several prestigious accolades, including a nomination for a British Academy Film Award and four Golden Globe nominations.
Raised in Long Beach, Diaz began her career in modeling, signing with Elite Model Management while still in high school.
