She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Simone Deveaux in the popular TV series Heroes. Additionally, Cypress starred as Ginger "Love Tap" LeBeau, a police officer grappling with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, in the Fox drama K-Ville.
