Dax Randall Shepard, born on January 2, 1975, is a multifaceted American actor, comedian, and filmmaker renowned for his work in television and film. He first gained prominence as a cast member on the hit prank show Punk'd, created by Ashton Kutcher. Shepard's film career took off in the mid-2000s with notable performances in popular comedies such as Employee of the Month (2006), where he starred alongside Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson, and the satirical film Idiocracy, directed by Mike Judge.
