Biography
Glenn Thomas Jacobs, born on April 26, 1967, is a multifaceted American figure known for his roles as a politician, actor, and professional wrestler. Since 2018, he has served as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, representing the Republican Party. In the wrestling arena, he is famously recognized as Kane, a character he has embodied in WWE.
Jacobs embarked on his wrestling journey in 1992 on the independent circuit, competing in organizations like Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the United States Wrestling Association before making his World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) debut in 1995. He adopted several personas until 1997 when he was reintroduced as Kane, the sibling of The Undertaker, leading to dynamic storylines that alternated between rivalry and partnership.

His accolades include three world championships, 12 tag team titles, and recognition as a two-time Intercontinental Champion. Kane also holds the record for the most Royal Rumble appearances and eliminations.
In addition to wrestling, Jacobs has starred in films, including the lead in WWE Studios' "See No Evil" and its sequel. His political aspirations culminated in a successful campaign for Knox County Mayor, winning both the primary and general elections in 2018.
