He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Chuck Larabee on the popular sitcom *Last Man Standing*, where he transitioned from a recurring character to a series regular. Adams also made a notable impact as Dr. Daniel Goodman in the inaugural season of the crime drama *Bones*, where his character appointed Dr. Camille Saroyan as the head of forensics, although he did not return after his initial departure.
