Jonathan Aris
Biography
Jonathan Aris is a British actor known for his work across stage, film, and television. He is the son of the late Ben Aris, a noted character actor in the UK, but unlike his father, Jonathan did not initially pursue acting as a career. He began his academic journey studying painting at the Camberwell School of Art and later went on to study Russian and Italian at Cambridge University. It was only after these experiences that he decided to train as an actor at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Following in his father's footsteps, Jonathan has predominantly taken on character roles, with a memorable performance as the private secretary to the female Prime Minister in the television series The Amazing Mrs Pritchard (2006). In addition to his screen work, he is also an accomplished voiceover artist, lending his voice to numerous television commercials and documentary narrations. Jonathan's extensive resume includes many stage performances, and he was part of the original London cast of the musical "Fame." His diverse talents and rich background reflect a multifaceted career in the performing arts.
