Steve Li
Biography
Steve Li is a talented writer-director based in Hong Kong, known for his compelling storytelling and artistic vision. His short drama, "Lost Pearl," released in 2021, earned significant recognition, being selected for the prestigious 51st International Film Festival Rotterdam and various other international film festivals. This early success showcased his ability to resonate with audiences globally.
In 2024, Steve expanded his creative repertoire by stepping into the role of Director of Photography for the film "The Land of Bliss." His work on this project was met with acclaim, as it clinched the Best Cinematography award at the 18th Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival in the Local Competition category.
Alongside his endeavors in short film production, Steve has been diligently working on feature film scripts. In 2021, he completed his inaugural feature film proposal titled "Beyond the Waves," which was accepted into the 4th HAF Film Lab, marking a significant milestone in his filmmaking career.
