Biography
Kevin Spacey Fowler KBE, born on July 26, 1959, is a renowned American actor, producer, and singer. His journey in the entertainment industry began in the 1980s as a stage actor, where he gradually moved into film and television. Spacey garnered early film credits in Mike Nichols' Heartburn (1986) and Working Girl (1988). The 1990s marked a significant turning point in his career, earning him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for The Usual Suspects (1995) and another for Best Actor for American Beauty (1999). His impressive filmography includes notable performances in Glengarry Glen Ross (1992), Seven (1995), and Baby Driver (2017).
On Broadway, he received acclaim for Long Day's Journey into Night (1986) and won a Tony Award for Lost in Yonkers (1991). He served as the artistic director of London’s Old Vic from 2004 to 2015. Spacey gained further recognition for his role as Frank Underwood in Netflix's House of Cards, earning a Golden Globe and several Emmy nominations.
