Lee Tergesen
Biography
Lee Tergesen, hailing from Ivoryton, Connecticut, completed his high school education at Valley Regional High School in Deep River. With aspirations of pursuing a career in acting, he relocated to New York City. He furthered his training by enrolling in the two-year program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Manhattan. During his time in the city from 1986 to 1989, Tergesen also worked at the Empire Diner, balancing his passion for acting with the demands of daily life.
Tergesen is best known for his versatile performances across television and film. His breakout role came as Tobias Beecher in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Oz," where he showcased his remarkable ability to portray complex characters. In addition to this iconic role, he has appeared in numerous other series, including "The Last Resort," "Deadwood," and "The Good Wife," earning praise for his dynamic performances.
Throughout his career, Lee has also made significant contributions to the film industry, with notable appearances in films such as "Wayward Pines" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning."
