Biography

Jack Farthing, born in 1985 in London, began his journey in the performing arts at a young age, honing his craft at Westminster School and the Hall School in Hampstead. His passion for acting led him to pursue further studies at Oxford University before transferring to the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). However, his career took a significant turn when he was cast as Benvolio at the prestigious Globe Theatre, where he also participated in various other productions, showcasing his talent at venues such as the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond and the Royal Court Theatre.

Farthing's breakthrough in television came after being discovered by casting director Andy Pryor. He made his television debut in the period drama 'Dancing on the Edge,' followed by a notable recurring role as Freddie, the quirky son in the beloved series 'Blandings.' With his growing popularity, he became a familiar face on screen, featuring in iconic shows such as 'Poirot' and the acclaimed reboot of 'Poldark.'
