Biography
Jennie Kim, widely recognized as JENNIE, was born on January 16, 1996, in South Korea. She spent five formative years studying in New Zealand before returning home in 2010. In August 2016, she made her mark on the music scene as a member of the globally acclaimed girl group Blackpink, created by YG Entertainment. JENNIE took a significant step in her career with her solo debut in November 2018, releasing the hit single "Solo," which soared to the top of both the Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.
In 2023, JENNIE ventured into acting, debuting under the name Jennie Ruby Jane in the HBO series The Idol. That same year, she launched her own label, Odd Atelier, marking a new chapter in her artistic journey. The following year, she achieved her second number-one hit on the Circle Digital Chart with her collaboration on Zico's "Spot!".
JENNIE is celebrated for her multifaceted talents in music and acting, alongside her striking fashion sense, earning her the nickname "Human Chanel."
