Biography
Michael Elliot Epps, born on November 18, 1970, is a multifaceted American entertainer celebrated for his work as a stand-up comedian, actor, film producer, writer, singer, musician, and rapper. Epps gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Day-Day Jones in the cult classic films Next Friday and its sequel, Friday After Next. He further showcased his comedic talents alongside Ice Cube in the hit film All About The Benjamins.
In addition to his success in film, Epps lent his voice to the character Boog in the animated sequels Open Season 2 and Open Season 3, demonstrating his versatility across different media. Beyond acting, he ventured into documentary filmmaking, serving as the executive producer for Napoleon: Life Of An Outlaw, which chronicles the life of a former member of Tupac Shakur's Outlawz, released in 2010.
