Herbert Lom, originally named Herbert Charles Angelo Kuchačevič ze Schluderpacheru, was a distinguished actor who made his mark in both film and television. Born on September 11, 1917, in Prague, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 1939, where he embarked on a remarkable career spanning over six decades.
Lom's early work often saw him cast in roles as criminals and villains, showcasing his ability to inhabit complex characters.
