Crystal R. Fox, an accomplished American actress and singer, was born on January 1, 1964, in Tryon, North Carolina. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Officer Luann Corbin on the acclaimed NBC/CBS series In the Heat of the Night, which aired from 1989 to 1995. Fox also captivated audiences with her powerful performance as Hanna Young in the popular OWN soap opera The Haves and the Have Nots, a role she held from 2013 until 2021.
Fox made a significant impact in film with her debut in the beloved 1989 movie Driving Miss Daisy, where she played the character Katie Bell.
