Robert Wisdom
Biography
Robert Ray Wisdom is an accomplished American actor recognized for his compelling performances in various acclaimed television series and films. He is perhaps best known for portraying Howard "Bunny" Colvin in the groundbreaking HBO drama *The Wire*, and Norman "Lechero" St. John in the Fox hit series *Prison Break*. More recently, in 2021, he showcased his comedic chops in the Hulu film *Vacation Friends*, playing Harold Conway, a couple's therapist caught up in a chaotic weekend adventure.
Born in Washington, D.C., to Jamaican parents, Wisdom earned a degree in history and economics from Columbia University. Before embarking on his acting career, he worked as a producer for NPR's *All Things Considered*. Over the years, he has appeared in a range of films including *That Thing You Do!*, *Face/Off*, *Ray*, and *The Manchurian Candidate*, and featured prominently in television series like *The Good Wife*, *The Practice*, *NYPD Blue*, and *The Shield*.
In 2012, he joined the cast of the ABC drama *Nashville* as Coleman Carlisle, a music producer, contributing to the series for its four-season run.
