Alfie Evan Allen, born on September 12, 1986, is a talented English actor renowned for his portrayal of Theon Greyjoy in the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2019. His compelling performance earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. In the realm of film, Allen has gained recognition for his roles in notable movies such as John Wick (2014), The Predator (2018), and Jojo Rabbit (2019).
Allen hails from a creative family, with his older sister being the celebrated singer Lily Allen. He made his professional debut in a one-off Channel 4 comedy titled You Are Here in 1998. The same year, he and Lily both appeared in the film Elizabeth, produced by their mother. His early career featured minor roles in projects like Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London, Atonement, and the BBC1 historical drama Casualty 1907. In 2008, he took on the role previously played by Daniel Radcliffe in the stage production of Equus.
