Kevin Michael Costner, born on January 18, 1955, is a renowned American actor and filmmaker whose career spans multiple decades. He has garnered significant acclaim, including two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Costner's career took off with notable performances in films such as *Fandango*, *American Flyers*, and *Silverado*, but he truly made his mark with leading roles in *The Untouchables* and *No Way Out* in 1987. His standout performances continued with *Bull Durham* (1988), *Field of Dreams* (1989), and the epic *Dances with Wolves* (1990), which earned him two Oscars.
