Vincent Andrew Schiavelli (November 11, 1948 – December 26, 2005) was an American actor and food writer recognized for his distinctive contributions across theater, film, and television. Often referred to as "the man with the sad eyes," he gained acclaim for his many supporting performances. Standing tall at 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m), Schiavelli's remarkable height contributed to his memorable presence on screen. He frequently credited his unusual facial features and significant stature to Marfan syndrome, a connective tissue disorder.
