Elizabeth Jean Spriggs-Manson (née Williams) was a distinguished English character actress, renowned for her versatile performances on stage and screen. A prominent member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, she brought to life memorable characters, including the Nurse in *Romeo and Juliet*, Gertrude in *Hamlet*, and Beatrice in *Much Ado About Nothing*.
