Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, known professionally as Billie Eilish, was born on December 18, 2001, in the United States. She rose to fame in 2015 with her breakout single "Ocean Eyes," which was co-written and produced by her brother, Finneas O'Connell, who remains her primary collaborator. Eilish's first extended play, *Don't Smile at Me*, released in 2017, achieved notable commercial success, breaking into the top 15 of charts in several countries, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia.
Her debut studio album, *When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?* (2019), debuted at number one on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and the U.K. Albums Chart, becoming one of the most successful albums of the year. The single "Bad Guy" made history as the first song by a 21st-century-born artist to top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and achieved Diamond certification from the RIAA. Eilish also performed the title track for the James Bond movie, *No Time to Die* (2021), which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
