Gustave de Kervern, born in 1962, is a prominent French actor, director, and screenwriter renowned for his creative partnership with Benoit Delepine. Kervern made a significant mark in the film industry with his 2004 project, *Aaltra*, where he took on the roles of writer, director, and lead actor alongside Delepine. Their collaboration continued to flourish with the film *Avida*, which premiered out of competition at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2006, showcasing their unique storytelling style.
One of their most notable works, *Louise-Michel*, garnered critical acclaim and earned a Special Jury Prize at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, further establishing Kervern and Delepine as a dynamic duo in contemporary cinema.
