Richard Ollie Crane (June 6, 1918 – March 9, 1969) was an accomplished character actor whose diverse career spanned over thirty years in both film and television. In the early stages of his career during the 1940s, Crane appeared in numerous films, often in uncredited roles, which helped him hone his craft and gain valuable experience in the industry.

Crane is perhaps best known for his leading role as the titular character in the science fiction television series "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger," which aired for two seasons beginning in 1954.
