Yuen Cheung-yan (袁祥仁) is a versatile talent in the Hong Kong film industry, known for his roles as an actor, director, stuntman, and fight choreographer. He has made significant contributions over the years, particularly during the 1970s and early 1980s, a vibrant era for martial arts cinema. Collaborating closely with his older brother, Yuen Woo-ping, and other members of the renowned Yuen family, he participated in a variety of films that showcased both action and humor. Notable works from this period include kung fu comedies such as "Shaolin Drunkard" (1982) and "The Miracle Fighters" (1983), which have become classics in their own right. Yuen Cheung-yan is the son of the legendary actor Simon Yuen Siu-Tin, further cementing his family's legacy in the film industry.
