Biography
Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, widely known by his stage name RZA, was born on July 5, 1969. As a multi-talented American artist, he has made significant contributions as a Grammy-winning music producer, rapper, author, and occasionally an actor, director, and screenwriter. RZA is best recognized as the principal figure behind the iconic hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, where he has produced nearly all their albums, along with various solo and affiliate projects. His innovative production style has cemented his status as one of the most influential hip-hop producers in history.
In addition to his work with Wu-Tang Clan, RZA has pursued a successful solo career, releasing music under his alter ego, Bobby Digital. He was also a founding member of the horrorcore group Gravediggaz, performing as The Rzarector. His artistic endeavors extend into film, where he has acted in notable movies such as *Coffee and Cigarettes*, *American Gangster*, and *Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai*. RZA's influence in both music and film has been widely recognized, and in 2008, he was ranked fourth on About.com's list of the best hip-hop producers of all time.
