Biography
Francis Pierre Horton Perrin, born on October 10, 1947, is a distinguished French actor, screenwriter, and film director. He began his theatrical journey by joining the prestigious Comédie-Française in 1972. However, his time there was brief, as he departed the following year to explore other artistic avenues.
Perrin's career highlights include his leadership role at the Théâtre Montansier, located in his hometown, where he served as director from 1992 until 2000. His contributions to the arts have not gone unnoticed; he has received several prestigious honors throughout his career. In 2001, he was recognized as an Officier de l'ordre national du Mérite, followed by his elevation to Officier de la Légion d'honneur in 2007. Further solidifying his impact on French culture, he was awarded the title of Officier des Arts et Lettres in 2016.
