Christopher McDonald, born on February 15, 1955, is an accomplished American actor renowned for his dynamic performances across film and television. He gained significant recognition for his memorable role as Shooter McGavin in the cult classic "Happy Gilmore" and for his portrayal of Roger Maris in the acclaimed HBO film "61."

McDonald’s diverse filmography includes standout performances as Goose McKenzie, a member of the T-Birds in "Grease 2" (1982), and Darryl Dickinson, sharing the screen with Geena Davis in "Thelma & Louise" (1991). He also took on the role of Ward Cleaver in the 1997 remake of "Leave It to Beaver" and embodied the character Tappy Tibbons in the gripping drama "Requiem for a Dream" (2000).
