Stephen Dorff
Biography
Stephen Hartley Dorff Jr. is a talented American actor whose career began in childhood with a role in the cult classic horror film The Gate (1987). He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Stuart Sutcliffe in Backbeat (1994) and became widely known for his role as Deacon Frost in the action hit Blade (1998). Dorff has starred in several key films, including Blood and Wine (1997) directed by Bob Rafelson, John Waters’ Cecil B. DeMented (2000), and Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere (2010). He also appeared as Britney Spears’ love interest in the 2004 music video for "Everytime." In addition to his leading roles, Dorff has taken on memorable supporting characters, such as Candy Darling in I Shot Andy Warhol (1996) and Detective Scott Strauss in World Trade Center (2006). More recently, he portrayed Roland West in the third season of HBO's anthology series True Detective (2019).
