Dean Norris
Biography
Dean Joseph Norris, born on April 8, 1963, stands at 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m) and is a prominent American actor celebrated for his compelling performances. He gained widespread recognition for his role as DEA agent Hank Schrader in the critically acclaimed AMC series Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, Norris has captivated audiences with his portrayal of town selectman James "Big Jim" Rennie in the CBS drama Under the Dome, a role he has held since 2013.
His film career is equally impressive, featuring notable appearances in several iconic movies, including Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Total Recall (1990), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Starship Troopers (1997), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Evan Almighty (2007).
Hailing from South Bend, Indiana, Norris was born to Jack, a furniture store owner, and Rosie Norris, and he grew up with four sisters. He completed his high school education at Clay High School in 1981, where he excelled academically, achieving straight A's. Norris went on to earn a degree in social studies from Harvard College in 1985, further honing his craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
