Biography
Alessandro Liborio Madrigal, known as Al Madrigal, was born on July 4, 1971, and is a prominent figure in the American entertainment industry, recognized for his work as a comedian, writer, actor, and producer. He is a co-founder of the podcast network All Things Comedy, which he launched in collaboration with fellow comedian Bill Burr. Madrigal gained significant popularity as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he contributed for five seasons.
In addition to his stand-up comedy career, he has showcased his acting talents in various television series and films. His notable roles include appearances in the movie Night School, the Showtime dark comedy I'm Dying Up Here, NBC's About A Boy, as well as in CBS sitcoms such as Gary Unmarried and Welcome to The Captain. He has also made guest appearances on well-known late-night shows, including Conan and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Madrigal took part in the sports drama The Way Back, featuring Ben Affleck and directed by Gavin O'Connor. Furthermore, he appeared in the Sony film Morbius, set in the Spider-Man Universe, portraying the character Alberto "Al" Rodriguez.
