John Dezso Ratzenberger is a versatile American actor, voice actor, director, producer, writer, and entrepreneur, known for his remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry. With a career that has generated significant box-office success, Ratzenberger is best recognized for his iconic portrayal of Cliff Clavin, the quirky mailman on the beloved sitcom Cheers. His performance earned him two Primetime Emmy nominations, solidifying his place in television history.

Ratzenberger's journey in the entertainment world began in the 1970s while he was residing in London, where he took on minor roles in films and television. His breakthrough came with Cheers, where he captivated audiences for the show's entire eleven-season run.
